Zen Mobile has secretly launched the Ultrafone 502 smartphone which is now listed on its official site for Rs 8,999. However this smartphone is available online for Rs 7,299 after discount.
In terms of specs, Zen Ultrafone 502 flaunts a 4.5 inch qHD IPS display screen with 540×960 pixels screen resolution. Zen Ultrafone 502 is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor paired with 512MB of RAM and 4GB of internal storage, which can be expandable up to 32GB via microSD card. In terms of software, it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean.
Other features on Zen Ultrafone 502 are, has an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. In terms of connectivity, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G (one of the dual-SIMs) and GPS/ AGPS, it also has ambient light, G-sensor and proximity sensor.
This phone will compete against both domestic and international vendors. Mainly it will take on Micromax A74 Canvas Fun, Xolo Q800, Karbonn Titanium S1, Samsung Galaxy Trend and the Galaxy Star Pro.
