After so much of rumors and leaks, finally Xiaomi has announced its another very affordable smartphone under its Redmi series, the Xiaomi Redmi 3 which is the successor of last year announced Redmi 2 (First Impression | Review). Xiaomi Redmi 3 is priced 699 Yuan which means approximately Rs. 7,000, and it will go on sale from tomorrow itself in China.
Despite of being very affordable, this smartphone comes with full metallic body which not only looks premium but also provides a premium look to the device, at back it has got pattern design which looks good as well as provide better grip to the device.
When it comes to specs then, Xiaomi Redmi 3 flaunts 5inch HD display screen, under the hood it is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 616 processor along with 2GB of RAM, and includes internal memory of 16GB which can be further expandable via Micro SD card, it has got an hybrid slot which means on first SIM you will be able to insert your SIM card and in second slot you can either insert second SIM card or an Micro SD Card for memory expansion.
When it comes to photographic front, it comes with 13MP rear snapper along with LED flash and Phase Detection Autofocus (PDAF), at front it has got 5MP front facing camera for selfies, for connectivity it supports 4G/LTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and GPS, it comes with massive 4,100mAh battery and when it comes to software, it runs on MIUI 7.
As told earlier, Xiaomi Redmi 3 is launched at the price tag of Yuan 699 and it will be available for buy, however company hasn’t revealed its plan to launch it in other part of world.
