After Alcatel One Touch launched its octa core smartphone Idol+ in India, WickedLeak has also launched its octa-core powered android smartphone which has 720p display screen, the Wickedleak Wammy Neo in India at price tag of Rs. 11,990/-
If we talk about specs, then Wickedleak Wammy Neo features a 5 inch display screen with screen resolution of 720p, it has Dragon Trail glass on top. Under the hood its powered by a MediaTek 6592 octa-core chipset clocked at 1.7GHz with Mali 450 along with 2GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 64GB by using a microSD card.
Wickedleak Wammy Neo features a 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash, at front it has a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. For connectivity it include 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n with hotspot and Direct functionality, Bluetooth v2.1, GPS/ A-GPS with EPO, FM radio, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm audio jack. It houses a 2200mAh battery which provide standby time of 5-6 days.
As per software point of view, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and will get upgradeable to the 4.4 KitKat version. Company is also touting the optional Aquaprotect Water Resitant Technology.
At this price tag and specs it will compete with Alcatel One Touch Idol X+, Panasonic P81, MICROMAX CANVAS KNIGHT A350 and INTEX AQUA OCTA.
