India based smartphone maker Swipe has announced a new smartphone under its Elite-series, the Swipe Elite VR which is a VR ready smartphone, at least this is what company says about this smartphone. This smartphone will be available on ShopClues starting today with the price tag of Rs. 4,499 and it will be available in black, white, gold and red color options.
The company is bundling a VR headset with this device, and the company is taunting this device as most affordable VR ready device.
When it comes to specs, then Swipe Elite VR flaunts a 5.5-inch HD IPS display, under the hood, it is powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek 6737 processor along with 1GB RAM and 8GB internal storage, seriously 1GB of RAM, e are in 2017 and launching a device with 1GB and saying it will be a VR ready device is something which we can’t understand, and yes this device does not have Gyroscope sensor as well, so how this device is going to work on VR is something which we would like to know.
When it comes to the photographic front, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front camera, when it comes to the connectivity front, it supports 4G VoLTE, WiFi, dual-SIM, Bluetooth, it houses a 3,000mAh battery and when it comes to the software front, it runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow based Indus OS.
