Today, along with Sony Xperia Z5 Premium, company has launched another smartphone in India, the Xperia Z5 dual which company has announced in IFA Berlin earlier this year. Unlike global variant, the Indian variant has got dual SIM option and and that’s why its been called Xperia Z5 Dual, rest of the features and specification remains excatly the same what we had seen on global variant.
This smartphone is launched at the price tag of Rs. 52,900 and it will be available from October 23 and as an introductory offer, SOny is offering three months of subscription for Sony Music, Sony LIV, Hungama Play and free e-books worth Rs 1,000 on Amazon’s Kindle app and it will also have pre-installed the Modern Combat 5 game.
When it comes to specs Sony Xperia X5 Dual flaunts an 5.2-inch full HD (1080p) Triluminos display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, under the hood it is powered by Qualcomm’s 64-bit Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor along with Adreno 430 GPU and 3GB of RAM, it also comes with 32GB of internal storage which can be further expandable via a microSD.
When it comes to photographic front, Sony Xperia Z5 Dual features a 23-megapixel rear snapper with hybrid auto-focus and LED flash, it can record 4K videos, and there is an 5-megapixel wide-angle camera for selfies at front, for connectivity it features dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth, GPS Micro USB and NFC.
It houses an 2,930mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge 2.0 feature for fast charging, when it comes to software front it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box.
