[Solved] Windows Live Writer “Server Error 405”

I had made a blog and want to write post through Windows Live Writer, But whenever i try to add my blog into it it shows Server Error 405

Actually this error comes when you try to add blog with like WordPress but before adding it you must you must enable XML-RPC service through your admin account. Ok lets fix it:-

• Open your wordpress account as an admin,
• Now expand Setting by clicking on it and navigate to writing,
• Now move down and you will see a option saying

XML-RPC :- Enable the WordPress, Movable Type, MetaWeblog and Blogger XML-RPC publishing protocols.

• Just click it to enable it and save it
• Now open your Windows Live Writer and Add it again this time you will not face such error
