To promote mobile app purchases in India, today, on-demand digital entertainment storefront, Hungama has join hands with Snapdeal and as a result of this users who shop via Snapdeal app will get access to ad-free Hungama’s Premium PRO service free for the period of nine weeks. Hungama Pro is a premium service where users get ad-free app which comes with HD quality music videos, lyrics and offline access of them as well, this service usually cost Rs. 120/month.
Snapdeal and Hungama are also working on creating more offerings for their users, which will see entertainment options bundled with shopping purchases and are likely to be rolled-out in stages over the next one year. According to a recent IAMAI report, that pegged India’s Internet population at 300 mn by December 2014, Entertainment and Shopping were among the highest drivers of Internet usage on mobile phones.
In recent times there were several reports which suggest that Snapdeal has saw a big changes in its apps downloads, alone in October company has saw 2 millions downloads and install, if we talk about Hungama then its trailing behind some of the major apps like Gaana and Saavn in Google Play. Both companies are hoping for a boost with this partnership.
