I haven’t met a single person on this earth who don’t love music, yes taste differs from person to person, some like EDM, some like pop and so on, but everyone loves music. If you ever have thought of buying a headphone then you surely have thought of Skullcandy, earlier company has launched Grind, now company has launched a Bluetooth version of the same, the Skullcandy Grind Wireless which I was using for a month, and totally loved it.
Inbox Contents Of Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
Inside the box, you will get Skullcandy Grind Wireless headset, a USB to Micro USB cable for charging, then you have a 3.5mm audio cable if you love wired connection and some manuals.
Design And Build Of Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
The build is very similar to of the wired one, here you have 40mm driver, Skullcandy Grind Wireless is available in different color options like white, black, blue, gray/plaid, and blue/brown, we have got the white one for review.
The bottom of the headband has got mesh which fits perfectly on your head and it is comfortable as well, but the ear-pads are not so comfortable, they fits nicely over your ears and covers your ears, but after using for an hour or so, you will face issues, it’s due to the lack of paddings.
You can easily adjust the size of the headband, which means no matter what size you have, you can use this Skullcandy Grind Wireless without any issue, but it doesn’t have any hinge which means you won’t be able to fold this, it might not be an issue for most of you, but I am a guy who just wants to fold headset and throw in bag and good to go, which is not possible here.

Build quality is decent here, it’s not bad and not good as well for the given price tag, the headband has metal in it which means it can survive easily, whereas the earcups are made up of plastic which surely feels cheap at some point.
Left earcup has nothing on it, but right earcup has some controls on it, you will find two ports here, Micro USB and 3.5mm audio jack, you have three buttons here as well which are shaped like a plus sign which you can use to increase volume or long press will jump to next track, a circular button which can be used for Play/Pause or turn on or off, and a minus sign button which you can use to lower the volume or go to previous track.
Buttons provide nice feedback but build quality sometimes feels cheap here and doesn’t match with the overall build of this headset.
Connection Quality of Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
You can use Skullcandy Grind Wireless in both wire and wireless way, connecting it over Bluetooth is pretty simple, when you turn it on, it will go in pairing mode, next time when you turn it on, it will get connected to the last paired device automatically.
Company claims Skullcandy Grind Wireless has a range of 30 meters, which is a standard range for Bluetooth, and we haven’t faced any issue while using it in 30 meters range, even when there were walls between.
Although if you take calls using this, then you will be disappointed as call quality on this is decent enough when you are in quite a place, but if you are in crowded pace, then avoid using it for calls.
Audio Quality Of Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
If you love Indian music then you are going to love this product, vocals were nice. The mids and highs were nice, if you love bass then you can turn up the volume to the full and you will enjoy it.
But at full volume, highs might seem little harsh, and while listening mids, you might get clean vocals but sometimes instrument doesn’t seem clean enough.
But overall, they sound great and you will enjoy them, ahhhmmm one thing which you need to know is when it comes to noise cancellation, it was not that great, we can easily listen to people talking around me while using this headset.
Battery Life of Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
Company claim, Skullcandy Grind Wireless can last for 12 hours at 75% volume, and this seems pretty accurate, we turned down the volume to the full and it lasted for around 11 hours which seems fair deal.
Final Verdicts On Skullcandy Grind Wireless:-
Skullcandy Grind Wireless is surely a nice piece of the wireless headset which you can get at the given price tag, they provide nice sound quality, and build also looks simple and good.
Yes, it doesn’t fold up which is surely a disappointment for me, other than this, it has got good marks from us.
