As expected, Samsung has launched next version of Galaxy Mega, the Galaxy Mega 2 aka Galaxy W in an event in Korea. It isn’t the flagship phone from the company as per specs, Samsung Galaxy W is 191.8mm tall, 99.6mm wide and 8.8mm thick and weighs in at 245 grams, which surely big and Samsung has tried to keep it as slim as possible.

As per specs, Samsung Galaxy W comes with 7 inch display screen with 720p screen resolution, under the hood its powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor paired with 1.5GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 64 GB via microSD card.
At back it includes a 8-megapixel rear camera along with 2-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a 3,200mAh battery. For connectivity it has LTE-A, Micro USB, Wifi, and Bluetooth. As per software front, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean.
Samsung Galaxy W is priced at $489, which is approximately Rs 28,900. At this price tag and specs it will compete with Asus FonePad 7.
