A couple of days back Samsung has started sending out invites for the launch of its flagship smartphone, and today company has announced its latest offering in Galaxy S series, the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+, like always, company was quick to launch its these devices in India right after the global launch. Online store giant, Flipkart has ben teasing on their websites and across social media channels, some of our sources have suggested that Galaxy S8 and S8+ will be exclusively online available on Flipkart.
When it comes to specs, Samsung Galaxy S8 flaunts a 5.8-inches Quad HD+ (2960 × 1440 pixels) Super AMOLED Infinity display with 570ppi and it is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, under the hood, it is powered by Exynos 9 Series 8895 SoC Octa-Core processor with Mali-G71 MP20 GPU along with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB storage, it also has a dedicated microSD card slot for memory expansion.
When it comes to the photographic front, it has a 12-megapixel Dual Pixel rear snapper with LED flash, f/1.7 aperture, 1/2.55″ sensor size, OIS, 1.4µm pixel size and for selfie lovers, we have an 8-megapixel autofocus front-facing camera with 80-degree wide-angle lens, f/1.7 aperture, 1/3.6″ sensor size, 1.22µm pixel size.
This time company has made some big changes in build quality, and this time there is no physical or capacitive buttons, company has moved fingerprint scanner at the back of the device. Samsung Galaxy S8 is now water and dust resistant with IP68.
For connectivity, it supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), VHT80 MU-MIMO, Bluetooth v 5.0 (LE up to 2Mbps), GPS with GLONASS, USB 3.1, NFC, MST, and house a 3000mAh battery with fast charging on both wired and wireless (WPC and PMA).
When it comes to the software front, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat wrapped under all new improved TouWiz U.I.
Samsung Galaxy S8+ has got almost same specs apart from screen and battery, Samsung Galaxy S8 comes with 6.2 inches display with screen resolution of 1440 x 2960 pixels (531 ppi), and it has got 3500 mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy S8 has been priced at Rs. 57900 in India while the Galaxy S8+ is priced Rs. 64900, both of the devices will be available online exclusively on Flipkart, whereas they will be available on offline stores across in India as well.
