After so much of news and expectation, Samsung has launched its selfie camera phone, the Galaxy Grand Prime in India at the price tag of Rs. 15,499, in recent days we had seen several selfie smartphone’s from different companies like Karbonn Titanium S19, Lava Iris X5, Sony Xperia C3, and Lenovo Vibe Z2, there were news that Samsung too wants to join the league and so they did.
If we talk about specs then, Galaxy Grand Prime comes with a 12.7 cm (5 inch) qHD PLS TFT display screen with screen resolution of 960×540, under the hood its protected by a Quad Core processor clocked at 1.2 GHz along with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 64GB via microSD.
As per photography front it has 8 megapixel of primary camera with Auto Focus and LED Flash which can record full HD 1080p@30fps, at front it has a 85 degree wide angle camera 5 megapixel front facing camera, for connectivity HSPA+, EDGE, GPRS, BT 4.0, WiFi b/g/n 2.4GHz, WiFi Direct, GPS – GPS + GLONASS, for sensors it has Accelerometer, Proximity, Geomagnetic.
This devices measures 144.8 x 72.1 x 8.6mm and weight 156g and houses a 2,600 mAh battery, as per software front Android 4.4 KitKat.
At this price tag and specs Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime will take on Motorala Moto G and Micromax Canvas Nitro.
