In the last couple of months, we have seen some rumors which suggested that HDM Global is now working on an entry-level smartphone and all rumors turn out to be true today, as HDM Global owned Nokia has expanded its smartphone series and announced a new entry-level smartphone in India, the Nokia 2 which is the fifth smartphone from company which has made its way to the market.
This device features an impressive design language for the price point it comes. It has an aluminum frame which looks impressive, at the back you have removable polycarbonate body which gives you access to SIM SIM card and memory card slots.
Another talking point of this device is its battery, it features a 4,100mAh battery which the company says is good enough to last over two days.
When it comes to specs then Nokia 2 features an flaunts a 5-inch LTPS HD (1280×720 pixels) display which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3, under the hood, it is powered by Qualcomm’s entry-level Snapdragon 212 Mobile Platforma along with 1GB of RAM, and 8GB internal storage, which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
When it comes to the camera platform, it features an 8MP rear snapper with LED flash, and there is a 5MP front facing camera for video calls and selfies, and for connectivity, you have dual-SIM card slots, 4G LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and GPS.
When it comes software front, then it runs on stock Android 7.1.1 Nougat right out-of-the-box, and it will be getting an Android Oreo update as well.
Nokia 2 Price And Availability –
Nokia 2 has been globally priced at EUR 99 (around Rs. 7500) and it will be available from mid-November, company hasn’t announced Indian pricing yet.
