Along with the launch of Sony Xperia Z2 and Xperia Z2 Tablet, Sony has also announced mid range android smartphone, Xperia M2 and Xperia M2 Dual which the dual SIM variant, like any other Xperia phones speaks the Omni balance design. Xperia M2 is only 8.64 mm thick and weighs a moderate 148 grams.
If we talk about its specs the, Xoeria M2 flaunts a 4.8 inches qHD display screen with screen resolution of 960 x 540 pixel resolution. Under the hood it is powered by 1.2 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon (MSM8928 for LTE and MSM8226 for 3G) processor paired with Adreno 305 GPU along with 1 GB RAM. It comes with internal storage of 8 GB which can be expandable upto 32 GB using MicroSD card.
At back it sports a 8 MP rear camera which can record Fuul HD videos. It houses a 2300 mAh battery and as per connectivity front it has LTE (Optional) / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 820.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, NFC and Micro USB.
In India it will compete against Motorola Moto G and LG G2 Mini.
