As we are hoping from HTC they had unveiled two new mid range Android smartphones at ongoing MWC, Desire 816 and Desire 610. Desire 816 is the same phone which was leaked few days back as Desire 8.
As per specs, HTC Desire 816 sports a 5.5-inch display screen with 720p screen resolution, it is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.6 GHz paired with 1.5GB of RAM. At back it has got a 13-megapixel rear camera and at front it has a 5-megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded using a microSD card. It houses a 2,600 mAh battery. As per connectivity front it has Bluetooth 4 with aptX and 802.11 b/g/n WiFi. HTC hasn’t revealed on what OS this device runs, instead HTC has just mentioned that it runs on Android wrapped under HTC Sense.
On the other hand HTC Desire 610, sports a 4.7-inch qHD display screen with screen resolution of 960×540 pixels, it is powered by a Snapdragon 400 processor clocked at 1.2GHz paired with 1GB of RAM. At back it has got an 8 megapixel rear camera and at front it has a 1.3-megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 8 GB of internal storagewhich can be expanded using a microSD card and houses a 2,040mAh battery. Here again hasn’t revealed on what OS this device runs, instead HTC has just mentioned that it runs on Android wrapped under HTC Sense.
