As we had already told you that Microsoft will announce RTM of Windows 8 in the first week of August, and see its done. Microsoft has announced that Windows 8 has reached RTM Stage and will be available for MSDN and TechNet users very soon, however GA will be on 26 October.
The final build number of Windows 8 RTM is 9200, just like we had told you earlier. If you had purchased your PC after June 2 then you can upgrade to Windows 8 for just Rs. 699/-
From August 15 Windows Store will go live for paid apps and you can start purchasing apps from it. Windows 8 comes in 3 editions, you can see the upgrade plans from your existing Windows PC.
