By the end of last year, India-based company, Micromax has launched affordable smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Spark 2, and now today company has launched the next version of this smartphone, the Micromax canvas Spark 2 Plus, the price of this smartphone remains same as Canvas Spark 2 which is Rs. 3,999, however, the USP of this device is that it comes with Android Marhmallow right out of the box which makes Canvas Spark 2 Plus as first Micomax smartphone to run on latest version of Android.
Just like Canvas Spark 2, this Canvas Spark 2 Plus will also be available exclusively on Snapdeal. With this device company is targeting first time smartphone users, and it also support for around 10 Indic languages.
When it comes to specs, Micromax canvas Spark 2 Plus flaunts a 5-inch FWVGA (854×480 pixels) display, under the hood it is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 1GB of RAM and also comes with 8GB internal storage which can be expandable via microSD card.
For photographic front, Micromax Canvas Spark 2 Plus comes with a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and there is a 2-megapixel selfie camera, and houses a 2,000mAh battery and for connectivity, it supports dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS.
