A week back, Meizu has launched its M5 in India, and shortly after this, today company has announced a compact version of Meizu M5, the Meizu M5c in China, with this device company is planning to go to international market. Actually, it is the stripped down version of M5, it will be available in five color options of black, gold, red, blue and pink. Company hasn’t announced any dates or price of this phone yet.
When it comes to specs, then Meizu M5c features a 5-inch HD display along with GFF full lamination, under the hood, it is powered by a 64-bit quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with Mali-T720 GPU and 2GB of RAM, it comes with 16GB of onboard storage which can be further expandable up to 128GB via a microSD card.
When it comes to the photography front, the Meizu M5c features an 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/2.0 aperture, it supports lots of modes like ArcSoft, beautification algorithm, 720p slow-motion shooting and panorama mode, at the front you have a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.

Meizu M5c houses a 3,000mAh battery, and for connectivity, it supports dual SIM, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS and Micro USB. Company hasn’t announced its OS, but it will run on Flyme 6 OS out-of-the-box which is based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
This will be the first smartphone to launch with Flyme OS 6, it will also come with Meizu’s One Mind AI which is one of the USP of Flyme 6 OS, Mind AI will monitor your usage of smartphone and will make sure that most used apps always run seamlessly.
