US based fashionable watch company, Martian has launched its first smartwatch, the Martian Notifier in India exclusively on Flipkart at the price tag of Rs. 9,999/-, it is up for pre-order on Flipkart and will be shipped from early October.
This smartwatch is little different from other smartwatch available in market like of LG G Watch, G Watch R or Moto 360, Martian Notifier rather smartwatch it works mostly as a notifier. It has a analog watch and has a small display at bottom to show notifications for incoming calls, text messages, social media notifications, weather and emails.
It is compatible with iPhone 4S and above, fifth-generation iPod touch, iPad mini, iPad Air, and third-generation iPad, as well as Android smartphones and tablets running on 2.33 Gingerbread and above.
At launch Jeffrey Hsieh, CEO of Martian Watches said :-
