LG has announced G3 Beat which is the stripped down version of its flagship smartphone, LG G3. Couple of days back LG G3 Beat was up for pre-order in India and today LG has launched this smartphone in India.
If we talk about specs the, LG G3 Beat sports a 5-inch HD 720p display screen, under the hood it is powered by a Snapdragon 400 quad-core processor clocked at 1.2GHz along with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of internal storage which can be further expanded using a microSD card.
At back LG G3 features an 8-megapixel rear camera with laser auto focus, its the same which we had seen in LG G3, at front it has a 1.3-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a removable 2,540mAh battery, and for connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, Micro USB and NFC and as per software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat wrapped under LG’s new UI.
At this price tag and specs it will compete with Sony Xperia T3, Samsung Galaxy S5 mini, and the Oppo N1 mini.
We think this phone is somewhere over priced, you could get almost similar specs in newly launched Motorola Moto G.
