Intex planned to launch its first ever smartwatch in MWC Shanghai 2015, but company made a big mistake by placing banner of its smartwatch before the event which was enough to guess many folks what company is trying to launch. Today company has officially launched their smartwatch, iRist which will be available at the price of Rs. 11,999 and will be exclusively available via eBay India.
When it comes to specs, Intex iRist features an 1.56-inch OLED display screen with screen resolution of 240×240 pixels, under the hood it is powered by an 1.2GHz MediaTek MT6572 dual-core processor along with 512MB of RAM, and has got 4GB internal storage of which around 1.3GB will be available for end user.
Intex iRist also features an 5-megapixel camera with 720p video recording support, iRist support 3G SIM card which means you can use it has standalone device to make or receive calls and send messages, for connectivity it also supports Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, USB, GPS, and on the software front, it runs on Android 4.4.2.
This device is water and dust resistance, and houses a 600mAh battery, which the company claims is good enough for 240 minutes of talktime and up to 200 hours on standby mode.
