Today Indian company Intex has launched a new smartphone under its Aqua sub-brand, the Intex Aqua Curve which has 5-inch One Glass Solution based curved display, Intex claims to be the first Indian company to launch a curved display phone in India.
The main feature and USP of this phone is its 5-inch qHD OGS-based curved display screen screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. Under the hood its powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz paired with 1GB of RAM, it comes with 4 GB of internal memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
At back it sports an 8 megapixel rear snapper and has a 2 megapixel front-facing camera. For connectivity it has dual-SIM support, 3G, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and Micro USB. It houses a 2,000 mAh battery which the company’s claims can offers up to 4.5 hours of talk-time and 180 hours of standby time.
On software front it runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean and comes with some gesture controls which allows you to control music, FM radio, gallery, and some standard proximity sensor based features.Intex Aqua Curve is available in three vibrant colors – red, blue and black.
