Chines mobile giant has launched 2 new phones in ongoing CES, Huawei has introduced Ascend Mate which has massive 6.1 inch screen and Ascend D2 which comes with 5 inch screen.
As we are seeing that many manufacturers are introducing “Phablets”, a new device between phone and 7 inch tablets, Ascend Mate has giant 6.1 inch screen with 720p resolution with 443 ppi, it is powered by Huawei’s 1.5 GHz quad-core Hi-Silicon chipset, it comes with Magic Touch UI, similar like we had seen in Nokia Lumia 920 which allows users to use phone even with gloves.
At back you will find a 8 MP camera with LED flash, it comes with Samsung like pop-up window for multi-tasking, as it’s a big phone so it do need a big battery, it comes with 4,050 mAh battery, It runs on Android 4.1 aka Jelly Bean. It will be launched in February.
On the other hand Ascend D2 comes with 5 inch 1080p IPS+ touch screen, at back you will find 13 MP BSI sensor, it is powered by 1.5 quad-core Huawei K3V2 processor, it comes with 3,000-mAh battery and runs on Android 4.1. It will be launched by the end of January.
Huawei is planning to launch smaller version of Ascend D2 which will have 4.7 inch touch screen and rest of the specs will be more or same.
