Couple of days back Huawei has launched two new devices under its Honor series, the Honor Bee (First Impression), to which company said is ‘Made For India’, and Huawei Honor 4C which is the little brother of last month launched Huawei Honor 4X. Huawei Honor 4C seems to be a promising device which comes with nice features but it has to face lots of competition as at the same price range other companies are also playing and providing good devices.
At the launch we got some time to play with the device we can say its a decent device but do you think it can handle the pressure as other devices in same price are doing well, so lets see what it has got.
Build And Design of Huawei Honor 4C :-
At first look you will find that Honor 4C has look lots of design from its elder brother, the Huawei Honor 4X which company has launched last month. At front of the device you will find a 5 inch display screen with screen resolution 1280x720pixels, nowadays its common to find HD resolution in sub 10K devices.
Below display screen you will find three touch capacitive buttons which again do not support backlit but are finished in silver which helps you in dark rooms. Above screen you have a 5MP front facing camera which supports HD recording. You also have nice metallic earpieces and some sensors places above screen.
If we talk about connectivity and ports then on right side you have plastic buttons of volume rockers and power and sleep button which will give you nice feedback over the usage.
At bottom of the device you will find a Micro USB port along with primary microphone, there is nothing on left side. At top of the device you have 3.5 mm audio jack for your headphone.
At back of the device you will find a primary 13MP camera along with LED flash, it has got a matte finish at the back which provide nice grip to the device. It back panel can be removed but battery wont come out. Once you remove back panel you have access to dual SIM slots and a micro SD card slot as well.
The overall design of the device is good and you will find a metal rim which runs all across the device adds another beauty to the device and gives a premium look.
Hardware And Specs Of Huawei Honor 4C :-
If we talk about under the hood feature of Huawei Honor 4C the it is powered by companies home made octa-core HiSilicon Kirin 620 processor clocked at 1.2Ghz along with 2Gb of RAM and it also comes with 8GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
For connectivity it has got Wi-fi 802.11n, Wi-fi Direct, Bluetooth 4.0 along with GPS/GLONASS, it do not support India LTE bands.
Software Of Huawei Honor 4C :-
Huawei Honor 4C runs on Android 4.4.2 wrapped under companies own EMUI 3.0 which is an flat UI on which you will find all apps icon on your dashboard. It also comes with several pre-installed apps, some of which might be useful for you.
Camera Of Huawei Honor 4C :-
Huawei Honor 4C comes with 13MP rear snapper with LED flash, it features Sony BSI sensor and an f/2.0 aperture lens. The interface was very much similar what we have seen in Huawei Honor 6 Plus (Review). At front you will have a 5 MP front facing camera as well. In our short span of time we found that both camera perform its job very well and can take decent images.
Final Verdict On Huawei Honor 4C :-
Overall device seems nice as its pack with lots of features, some of you might miss LTE on it but at this time LTE is limited to few hands only but its always better to be future proof. It will nice to see how this device will perform in day to day usage, we will comment more when we have our review unit with us.
