Today along with the announcement of Huawei Ascend G7, company has also announced new phablet, the Huawei Ascend Mate 7. Company has said they are going to launch this phablet in 30 countries in this quarter in Obsidian black, Moonlight silver, and Amber gold color variant and its been priced at EUR 499 for 16Gb variant and EUR 599 for 32 GB variant.
If we talk about specs then Huawei Ascend Mate 7 flaunts a 6-inch full-HD IPS display screen with screen resolution of 1080×1920 pixels, which means it has 368ppi and its been protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3. Under the hood its powered by octa-core (1.8GHz A15 + 1.3GHz A7) Kirin 925 processor with Mali T628 GPU, Its 16GB variant comes with 2GB of RAM while its 32GB variant comes with 3GB of RAM, It do support memory expansion via microSD card (up to 32GB).
At back Huawei Ascend Mate 7 features a 13-megapixel f/2.0 camera with Sony’s fourth-generation BSI sensor and LED flash, at front it has a 5-megapixel front-facing camera as well. For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G and 4G LTE Cat 6 connectivity and houses a 4100mAh Li-Polymer battery. And as per software front it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat with EMUI 3.0 .
Huawei has also introduced finger print scanner at the back of Ascend Mate 7, just like we had seen in HTC One Max. Huawei has also said that it can support up to five sets of different fingerprints, in regular and guest modes.
