Huawei is continuously expanding its smartphone series and they are really playing aggressively, recently company has launched two new smartphones at IFA Berlin 2016, the Huawei Nova and Nova Plus. At first look, both smartphones resemble the design of Nexus 6P, at least from back, it has same placement of buttons, same camera design and same placement of fingerprint scanner.
When it comes to specs, the Huawei Nova then flaunts a 5-inch FHD 2.5D curved display, it has 1.8mm bezel around the display which results in 76% screen-to-body ratio, under the hood, it is powered by Snapdragon 625 octa-core processor along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be expandable further via a microSD card, it has got a hybrid slot.
When it comes to the photographic front, it features a 12MP rear camera with 1.25-micron large pixel size, PDAF and LED flash and there is a 8MP front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture. For connectivity, it supports Dual SIM, WiFi, LTE, Bluetooth, USB Type-C, it houses a 3020mAh battery, however there is no word on fast charging as of now, and when it comes to software front, it runs on Android Marshmallow with Huawei’s EMUI 4.1 on top.
On the other hand, Huawei Nova Plus comes with a bigger display of 5.5 inch, you will find a 16MP rear camera with PDAF (phase-detection auto-focus), Optical Image Stabilization (OIS) and dual-tone LED flash, for selfies there is an 8MP front camera f/2.0 aperture, it houses a 3340 mAh battery. Rest of the features remains the same.
Huawei has priced at 399 Euros ($445 / Rs. 29500) and will be available in prestige gold, mystic silver and titanium grey colors, on the other hand Nova Plus is priced at 429 Euros ($479 / Rs. 32000) and comes in same colors options. both will go on sale sometime in October, however there is no word when it will be launched in India.
