Earlier this year HTC has announced a new device in its Desire series, the Desire 826 in India and now company has expanded its Desire series by launching a new device, the HTC Desire 626+ in India which comes at the price tag of Rs 16,900 and it will be available with all major retail stores in India from today, the launch came at the time when company has announced One M9+ in China and gearing for the launch of HTC One (M9) in India which is scheduled for 14 April.
If we talk about specs then HTC Desire 626G+ flaunts an 5-inch HD (720p) display screen, under the hood it is powered by an octa-core processor clocked at 1.7GHz with an unspecified chipset along with 1GB RAM and includes 8GB of internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via a microSD card slot.
As per camera front, the HTC Desire 626G+ features an 13-megapixel BSI rear snapper with LED flash and has a 5-megapixel BSI front snapper as well which has capabilities of 1080p video recording, it houses a 2,000mAh non-removable battery. As per connectivity is concern, it supports 3G support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and dual-SIM (nano SIM) support, it runs on Android 4.4 wrapped under HTC Sense UI and BlinkFeed.
It will be available in Blue Lagoon and White Birch color variants and at this price and specs HTC Desire 626G+ will compete with Huawei Honor 6, Gionee E7 Mini and Micromax Canvas Selfie A255.
