Few months ago there were some leak news about smartphone from HTC which will be powered by a octa-core processor and today HTC has announced that phone, the HTC Desire 616. Today at an event in Singapore HTC has announced Desire 616 at $240 (approximately Rs 14,000).
If we talk about specs then HTC Desire 616 has got 5 inch display screen with HD 720p screen resolution, as we had told you under the hood its powered, 1.4GHz MediaTek octa-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and has got 4 Gb of inbuilt memory which can be expandable up to 32 GB via microSD card.
At back HTC Desire 616 sports a 8 mega pixel rear snapper along with 2 MP front facing camera, for connectivity it has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, GPRS/ EDGE and 3G. It houses a 2000mAh battery can give up to 14 hours of talktime on 3G connectivity.
As per latest reports HTC Desire 616 has been listed on Hong Kong website and is being up for sale in North America, Russia and South Asia.
