Along with the launch of its flagship phone HTC One (M8), HTC has announced two new smartphone, Desire 210 which is entry-level smartphone and Desire 816 which is a mid-range phone. These are priced Rs. 8,700 and Rs. 23,990 respectively.
If we talk about specs, then Desire 210 flaunts an 4 inch WVGA display screen with screen resolution of 800 x 480 pixels, under the hood it is powered by a MediaTek MTK6572 dual-core processor clocked at 1 GHz along with 512 MB of RAM. It comes with 4 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 32GB using a microSD card. As per software front, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense and support HTC BlinkFeed.
At back it features a 5-megapixel rear snapper and a VGA front facing camera, it houses a 1,300 mAh battery. For connectivity it has dual-SIM card slot, 3G support, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Of the two SIM used in it will be micro-SIM, while the other will be regular SIM card and only one supports 3G.
On the other hand HTC Desire 816 features a 5.5-inch HD display screen with screen resolution of 720×1280 pixel, it is powered by a 1.6GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, along with 1.5 GB of RAM. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 128 GB via microSD cards.
At back it has a 13-megapixel f/2.2 rear snapper and a 5 megapixel front-facing camera. for connectivity it has 3G support, Wi-Fi, NFC and Bluetooth HTC hasn’t reveled on which Android version it runs but they confirm the presence of a brand new HTC Sense UI on top.
