HTC has announced Butterfly S some time ago, now this HTC Butterfly S is available for pre-order in Indian online stores for Rs. 52,428, as these eCommerce sites listed it gives idea that phone will be launched around 11 September.
As per specs HTC Butterfly S has same plastic body as we had seen in its predecessor, HTC Butterfly. It has bigger screen than Butterfly, it flaunts 5 inch Corning Gorilla Glass touch screen with full HD resolution of 1920×1080 pixels.
It is powered by a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 processor ticking at 1.9GHz, along with 2GB of RAM, it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean with HTC Sense 5.0 UI wrapped around, which brings features like BlinkFeed and Zoe camera.
It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 64GB using a microSD card, it houses a non-removable 3,200mAh battery which is bigger than Butterfly and HTC claims to offer 29 hours of talk time and 544 hours of standby time.
At back it has 4 MP UltraPixel camera, similar too HTC One camera and a 2.1 MP front facing camera too, it has front-facing stereo speakers with Beats Audio and HTC BoomSound.
For connectivity-wise, it comes with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G, GPRS, NFC, and micro USB support.
Pricing of this phone is much higher than of its competitors which runs on Snapdragon 600, you can find phones powered by Snapdragon 800 processors cheaper than of this one.
