Few time ago Google has made some changes on its products and put a long black menu bar at the top, this menu consists of several other Google’s products so that you can navigate to any other product easily.
But now Google has removed that menu bar and introduced Chrome OS like App launcher, this menu is lighter and allows you to check all other products with a single click, you can scroll down for more options instead of clicking more.
This menu is visible on several Google products like Blogger, Gmail, Search Google+ and so on, very soon it will be visible on YouTube also.
Those users who got this new menu will get following message :-
Welcome to the new way to find your favorite Google products.
Click the grid to have a look.
If you are not getting this menu then you can get it right away with following method :-
- First navigate to Google.Com,
- Now load your developer console, in Googke and Opera 15+ press Ctrl-Shift-J, on Firefox pres Ctrl-Shift-K, on IE press F12 and then switch to Console, on Opera 12 press Ctrl-Shift-I
- Now copy and paste :-
document.cookie="PREF=ID=e66a207a51ceefd8:U=936bafc98b2a9121:FF=0:LD=en:NR=10:CR=2:TM=1378808351:LM=1379592992:SG=1:S=OXyq0fqClYB66VuV ; path=/; domain=google.com";window.location.reload();
Page will automatically reload and new interface should be there.
Closing Words :-
This is a good change or bad will totally depends on you and how use it, if earlier you use Black Menu bar actively then you will not find it useful as now you have to click on that menu button and the scroll to product.
