Last month Gionee has launched two new smartphone in India, the Gionee Elife E7 and Elife E7 Mini, it seems this Chinese vendor is close to launch another smartphone in India, the GPad G4 as its been spotted online for Rs. 18,999. This phone will have aluminum unibody.
As per specs, the Gionee GPad G4 sports a 5.7-inch HD display screen (one-glass solution screen) with screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels, it will be powered by a MediaTek 6589T quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz along with PowerVR SGX 544MP2 GPU and paired with 1 GB of RAM.
At back it will a 13 megapixel rear camera with LED flash which will be able to record 1080p videos, and at front we will have a 5-megapixel front facing camera with 28mm wide angle lens. It will come with 16GB of internal storage and houses a 3,200mAh battery. For connectivity it will have dual-SIM card slots, 3G support, Wi-Fi, Micro USB Bluetooth, and GPS/A-GPS. It will run on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean.
At this price and specs it will compete with Micromax Canvas Doodle 2 and the Xolo Q3000.
