Today Chinese company Gionee has launched the Elife S5.5 to which company claims to be the slimmest Android smartphone in the world. Gionee has launched this phone at $370 which means Rs. 23K(apporx).
If we talk about its specs then Gionee Elife S5.5 will have a 5-inch display screen, it will be powered by octa-core processor clocked at 1.7 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM, at back it comes with 13-megapixel rear snapper and at front it will have a 5-megapixel front facing camera, on sftware front it runs on Android wrapped with Gionee’s Amigo UI. Gionee Elife S5.5 houses 2,300mAh battery which will last for more than a day. 3G version of Elife S5.5 is up for pre-order in China, and will be launched in 40 more countries around the globe. LTE version will hit stores in June.
This smartphone is slimmer than the Vivo X3, which was the slimmest Android smartphone till now with 5.75mm.
On Monday, Gionee has launched two new smartphone in India, Gionee M2 and Gionee GPad G4 for Rs. 10,999 and 18,999 respectively.
