Back in MWC 2014, YotaPhone 2 was showcased by the company and now after 10 months of its announcement this dual screen phone is now officially announced. YotaPhone 2 is priced 33,000 Rubles or Approx $640 and it will be shipped to 20 European countries this month and by early next month it will be available in China and some other countries of Asia as well. Couple of months back first generation YotaPhone was launched in India but sooner its 24% priced was slashed by Flipkart and its now available at Rs. 17,999.
If we talk about specs of YotaPhone 2 then it comes with dual display screen, one 5 inch FHD AMOLED display screen with screen resolution of 1920×1080 which is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 and at back you have a 4.7-inch e-ink display screen as well which has screen resolution of 960×540 pixels. Under the hood it is powered by Snapdragon 800 quad core clocked at 2.3 GHz paired with 2 GB of RAM and has 32GB of internal storage.
As per photography front it features a 8MP rear snapper with LED flash and a 2MP front facing camera as well, as per connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth, Micro USB, NFC and GPS, it houses 2500 mAh battery and as per software front it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat.
Here you have to notice that the e-ink display screen dosnt work with all apps but it do support some of the essential apps like Google Maps, you can view notifications, weather information’s and read messages, emails and some other’s.
