If you are a music lover and use to play songs while working on your system then you must need to change volume time to time as some songs have high pitch and some has low. It could be time consuming and irritating too. Volumouse is a freeware which allows you to change your system volume by just your mouse wheel.
Normally when you need to change volume, you click on speaker icon on taskbar and then adjust your volume. But after installing this freeware all you have to do is scroll your mouse wheel.
After installing this app, just open it and set the rules for changing your volume, like you can set when you press ALT key and scroll mouse wheel your system volume changes or you can set like when the left mouse button is down, when the mouse cursor is over the taskbar, and so on.
You can also set devices, components and channels in setting window. Under Step parameter you can configure how much volume should increase or decrease with every turn of your mouse wheel.
If the conditions set by you does not satisfied, your mouse wheel will be used for the regular scrolling tasks, exactly as before.
In Windows Vista, Windows 7 and Windows 8, If UAC is turned on, Volumouse cannot work with applications that you run as Administrator. If you want that Volumouse will be able to capture mouse events from application that you run as Administrator, you should also run Volumouse as Administrator.
