The biggest change in Windows 8 by Microsoft is that they had introduced Start Screen in it, on start screen you can pin apps which will be updated in real time automatically, you can also select either you want smaller tile or larger one.
But by default Windows doesn’t allows you to change the number of rows of it. Windows 8 Start Screen Tiles is a freeware tool which allows you to adjust the number of rows displayed on your start screen.
All you need to do is run the app and then it will show the number of rows based on your screen resolution. It will be limited to a number of rows, e.g. in my 1366×768 resolution limits up to 4 rows, while in vertical mode (768×1366) it reach’s up to 8 rows.
