Asus has send press invite for the launch of Asus FonePad 7 Dual SIM variant, it was launched back in Mobile World Congress 2014. Asus will launch it at an event in Delhi tomorrow.
This dual SIM variant is essentially which was launched last year aspect the processor has been upgraded, this dual SIM is powered by a 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2520 dual-core processor, whereas single SIM variant was powered by 1.6GHz Clover Trail Plus Z2560 dual-core processor.
Others features of it are, a 7-inch IPS display screen with screen resolution of 1280×800 pixels, it comes with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM which can be expanded up to 32GB via a microSD card. In term of software it runs on Android 4.2 Jelly bean. At back it features a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.2-megapixel front-facing camera, it houses a 3,950 mAh battery which can last 28 hours of talk time or 10 hours of tablet usage as per Asus’s claims. For connectivity it has 3G HSPA+, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 3.0 and GPS.
