As we had told you that evad3rs team is going to release the first ever Unthethered Jailbreak for all iOS 6.x running device including iPhone 5 and its been released.
Support iDevices :-
This tool supports all device running iOS 6.x like iPhone, iPad, iPad Mini, iPod but Apple TV 3rd generation is not supported yet.
Requirements :-
- A computer running at least Windows XP or above, Mac OS X v10.5 or above, Linux
- An iOS device running iOS 6.x
- A USB cable for connection your iOS device to your computer
How To Jailbreak :-
- First make backup of your device using iTunes,
- Download Evasi0n jailbreak tool,
- Update your device to iOS 6.1, Evasi0n supports all version of iOS 6 but it is recommended to update to iOS 6.1,
- Disable passcode, for this navigate to Settings –> General –> Passcode Lock –> Off
- Make sure iTunes and Xcode are not running
- Launch Evasi0n tool on your computer
- Now connect your iDevice to computer or MAC, and let evasi0n recognize your device
- Once your device is recognized click on Jailbreak button and let evasi0n do its job
- Do not touch your device and computer while process is going on
- Once all is done your device will restart and you will have Cydia on it.
