Recently in CES 2018, Panasonic has announced a new member in its GH series of camera, the Panasonic Lumix GH5s which is the successor of GH5 and it is specially targeted towards cinematographers, documentary makers, wedding users and YouTubers users, and today company has announced this Lumix series camera in India today. This Panasonic Lumix GH5s is priced at Rs. 1,84,990 for body only and it will be available from tomorrow onwards across the country, company hasn’t told us whether it will be available online or not, but it will make its way to offline shores for sure.
The main talking point of this camera is its low light photography, company has sacrificed resolution for higher ISO sensitivity so that this camera can perform better in low lighting conditions.
This all new Panasonic Lumix GH5s has got all newly developed 10.2-megapixel Digital MOS Sensor with Dual Native ISO Technology and Venus Engine 10 which gets better results even dark parts of the image. It has got ISO 51200 high sensitivity recording when lights are not that much great, it also got an extended ISO of up to 204,800.
Panasonic Lumix GH5S also comes with a Variable Frame Rate Effect (VFR) which allows users to record slow motions and timelapse videos seamlessly at 60 FPS and 240 FPS format.
Another USP of this camera is the ability to record in Cinema 4K resolution (2160×4096) with up to 10-bit 4:2:2 video. It also comes pre-installed with HDR Hybrid Log Gamma and Panasonic’s V-Log L along with professional grade exposure tools, so users don’t have to purchase a software upgrade key separately.
It has also enhanced the 225-point autofocus system to achieve outstanding footage in any environment, especially in low light. It also allows shooting time-lapse and 2.5x slow motion in 4K or up 10x slow motion in Full HD.
