Last year there were rumor that Xiaomi is going to launch world’s first dual curve display screen phone, the Xiaomi Mi Arch but for some reason Xiaomi failed to do so and Samsung launched world’s first dual screen smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Now rumors are again gearing up and it seems Xiaomi hasn’t gave up and soon they will be launch a smartphone named Mi Edge which will have dual curve display screen.
Some news are coming from China which claims this dual curve display phone will be called as Mi Edge instead of Mi Arch which was rumored earlier, as per rumors Mi Edge will have an 5.2-inch display that curves all the way to the back on the both side.
It will have an QHD (2560×1440) resolution which result in whopping pixel density of 565ppi. Some of the earlier rumors says that curve screen can be used for displaying active notifications and shortcut menu’s or company could also utilize one screen to live stream information’s like stock, sports or any other.
Under the hood Xiaomi Mi Edge will powered by a Snapdragon 808 hexa-core chipset along with Adreno 418 GPU, and will have 3GB or 4GB of RAM, it will also have a fingerprint sensor.
This smartphone could be launched in October and will be priced around $391 which means around Rs. 25,500 which is way less than Samsung Galaxy Edge Plus.
