As expected, Today Lava has launched much awaited Second generation of popular Android One device, the Lava Pixel V1, almost all specs and details of this phone has been leaked. When it comes to price, this Android One device will be available for almost twice of the price of First Generation Android One device’s, the Lava Pixel V1 will be available at the price tag of Rs. 11,350.
Unlike last year’s Android One devices, this Lava Pixel V1 will be available both online as well on offline stores. It will be available exclusively on Flipkart for online from 27 July onwards, and it will be available in two color variants — white-silver and gold.
When it comes to specs, Lava Pixel V1 features an 5.5-inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS display which is protected by Asahi Dragon Trail Glass, under the hood it is powered by an MediaTek quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM and Mali 400 MP2 GPU, it also comes with 32GB internal storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
When it comes photography, Lava Pixel V1 rear camera takes 13-megapixel images throught software enhancement, although it has 8MP sensors, with LED flash, 1.4um BSI sensor, and f/2.0 aperture, the front facing camera takes 8MP images but it has an 5-megapixel snapper. For connectivity it has dual-SIM card slots, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS/A-GPS, and USB OTG support.
Lava Pixel V1 houses an 2,650mAh battery with battery-saving mode and company claims is good for 20 hours of 2G talk time, or 12 hours on a 3G network.On the software front, it runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop.
