Earlier today India based company, Micromax has launched their first ever 4G/LTE enabled smartphone, the Canvas Knight 2, now another Indian smartphone brand, Intex has announced their 4G enabled smartphone, the Intex Aqua 4G+. Intext has price Aqua 4G+ at Rs 9,499 and unlike Micromax Canvas Knight 2 which will go on sale next week, Intex Aqua 4G+ will go on sale from today itself.
If we talk about specs the, the Intex Aqua 4G+ features an 5-inch HD display screen with screen resolution of 1280×720 pixels, screen is protected with Dragontrail Glass Hybrid, under the hood it is powered by MediaTek’s 6735 quad-core chipset clocked at 1.3GHz along with 2GB of RAM and has also got 16GB of internal storage which can be expandable up to 32GB via micro SD card.
As per photography is concern, Intex Aqua then there is an 13-megapixel rear auto focus camera with LEd flash, there is also an 5-megapixel selfie camera up front, it houses an 2,300mAh battery with Power Saving mode and for connectivity it includes LTE support, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Micro USB and GPS, as per software front, it runs on Android Lollipop out-of-the-box.
At this price tag it will face tough stiff competition from Yu Yureka, Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G, and the Honor 4X among others.
