Today Asus has expanded its Ultrabook series in India by announcing new super light weight and slim Ultrabook, the ZenBook UX305. Company claims its just 12.3mm thin is the world’s slimmest 13.3-inch QHD+ ultraportable laptop. ASUS ZenBook UX305 will be available from Rs.49999; will be available at Flipkart and ASUS Exclusive Stores from 15th May’2015, onwards.
Asus ZenBook UX305 features an 13.3-inch QHD+ display in-plane switching (IPS) multi-touch display anti-glare display panel with a 3200 x 1800 resolution which results in pixel density of 275ppi, under the hood it is powered by new Intel® Core™ M-5Y10 Processor along with an ultra-fast up to 512GB solid-state disk and up to 8GB of RAM.
This ultrabook features ASUS thermal management design which removes the need for cooling fans, which keep UX305 completely silent all times. ASUS IceCool technology ensures that the palm-rest area remains below body temperature at all times for maximum user comfort.
In terms of connectivity, Asus ZenBook UX305 features three USB 3.0 ports and one of the USB ports supports ASUS Charger+ technology for rapid recharging of mobile devices. A USB-to-Ethernet adapter is bundled with UX305, along with a mini DisplayPort-to-VGA adapter for connecting to an external monitor.
In terms of OS, it runs on Windows 8.1 out of box and do supports Smart Gestures controls. It comes with a lithium-polymer battery which provide a life of up to 10 hours.
