As we were expecting, today India’s biggest telecom company, Bharti Airtel has started registration of Xiaomi Redmi Note 4G. Airtel has tied up with Chinese smartphone manufacturer to deliver its fourth generation powered device, Redmi Note 4G on its network. Its first time when Xiaomi devices will be sold on bricks and mortar stores but for this also first you have to register online and it will be available across six cities Mumbai, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Delhi-NCR and Kolkata.
Airtel is already provding 4G services in 16 cities in India but at this time Redmi Note 4G and soon it will be available in other parts of the country. Company has also said that each week they will organize a Mi Day on its each store where users can buy device without any registration.
If you are a postpaid customer of Airtel and have at least 500 MB data on your plan then you can easily switch to 4G plan, if you area Airtel prepaid or non-Airtel customer then you first have to go for Airtel postpaid myPlan at the time of purchase.
Company has said that its exiting 3G users can enjoy 4G speed on their devices at the same tariff without the need of activating any 4G plan, if you are in a city where Airtel 4G is not available then you will be upgraded to 4G plan at the same tariff of 3G when it will be rolled out.
