Recently we had reported that Samsung is going to launched its Tizen OS based smartphone, the Samsung Z1 in India, this smartphone will be launch on January 18, now to add more wait to this story some images has surfaced internet which seems to be coming from Mumbai based retailer, Mahesh Telecom and some other sources, one of those images reveals full specs of this alleged device.
As per the leak Samsung Z1 features a 4-inch display screen with screen resolution of 800×480 pixels, under the hood it is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor along with 768MB of RAM and has 4GB internal storage which can be expandable, houses a 1,500mAh battery, for connectivity it has dual-SIM handset supports, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, as well as FM radio. For photography it comes with a 3-megapixel rear snapper with LED flash at the rear end, and a VGA shooter at front.
It will run on Tizen 2.3 operating system. To attract users company is also expected to offer local contents like music, videos with its Club Samsung 2.0. This phone expected to be priced somewhere around Rs. 6000.
In recent days we had seen that Samsung has decided to move to its own OS and leave dependency upon Google’s Android OS. It will be good to see how company is going to sell this device in a Android populated market. At this price tag it will compete with Android One devices.
