Last month HTC has announced its latest smartphone, the HTC One (E8) which is basically a strip down version of HTC One (M8), first it was launched in China and then it was globally announced, today at an event in New Delhi, HTC has launched this smartphone in India at Rs. 34,900 and it will be available by this month end.
If we talk about specs then HTC One (E8) comes with a 5-inch display screen with full HD 1080p display screen with 441ppi, it is protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, under the hood its powered by Snapdragon 801 quad-core processor cloked at 2.5GHz along with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM, it has got 16GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 128GB via a microSD card.
HTC has skipped Duo Camera which we had seen in One (M8), and in One (E8) it has an 13-megapixel rear snapper along with the same 5-megapixel snapper at front.
HTC One (E8) houses a 2,600mAh battery which as per company’s claims can provide 20 hours of talktime and 496 hours on standby mode. For connectivity it has WiFi, Bluetooth, Dual SIM, NFC, Micro USB and GPS. As per software it runs on Android 4.4.2 KitKat along with Sens UI 6.0.
At this price and specs it will compete with Samsung Galaxy S5 as both got almost same specs.
