Today Sony has launched its flagship phone of the year, the Sony Xperia Z2 in India which was announced at MWC 2014 this year. Xperia Z2 was launched at Rs. 49,990/-

As per specs, Sony Xperia Z2 sports a 5.2-inch full-HD display screen with screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels, under the hood it is powered by quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 801 processor ticking at 2.3GHz paired with 3 GB of RAM and a 3,200mAh battery. It include 16GB of internal memory and expansion with the help of a microSD card slot.

At back it sports same 20.7-megapixel snapper which we had seen in Xperia Z1, which is capable of shooting 4K videos. At front it has a 2.2 megapixel camera too, it houses a 3,200 mAh battery. It is water and dust proof smartphone. Sony Xperia Z2 gets support for USB DAC, Noise Cancellation. For connectivity it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/AGPS and NFC. As per software is concern it runs on 4.4.2 KitKat.

At this price tag and specs it will compete with other flagship of like HTC One (M8) and Samsung Galaxy S5
