As told earlier Xiaomi has hosted an global event in New Delhi where company has announced its latest smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi 4i, its the lighter version of Mi4 which company has launched earlier this year in India. As name suggest, its the stripped down variant of Xiaomi Mi 4, and Mi 4i will be available on Flipkart as of now and will soon comes to other eCommerce website. Xiaomi has very aggressively priced this smartphone in India and it is priced Rs. 12,999.
If we talk about specs then, Xiaomi Mi 4i flaunts a 5-inch full HD (1920×1080 pixels) IPS OGS (One Glass Solution) display with pixel density of 441ppi. The display also features a technology Xiaomi calls “Sunlight display,” which adjusts the contrast of each pixel for crystal-clear images even under direct sunlight.
If we talk about under the hood it is powered by a second-generation 64-bit Snapdragon 615 octa-core (1.1GHz quad-core + 1.7GHz quad-core) processor clocked at 1.7GHz along with 2GB of RAM, and has got 16GB of internal memory.
As per photography front, Xiaomi Mi 4i features a 13-megapixel rear camera with CMOS sensor, f/2.0 aperture, and dual-tone flash, and at front it has got an 5-megapixel selfie camera, with f/1.8 aperture and 80 degrees wide angle lens.
For connectivity it has got dual-SIM card slots with both supporting LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Micro USB, GPS and Bluetooth 4.1, it houses a 3,120mAh battery with quick charge support, which is capable of charging device to 40 percent in an hour, and can fully charge in three.
If we talk about software, then Xiaomi Mi 4i is the first smartphone from company which runs on Android Lollipop-wrapped under MIUI 6 right of the box.
