Today Samsung has launched successor of Galaxy Grand, the Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 in India, it will hit our stores in first week of January, Samsung hasn’t announced any price yet but we hope it will be priced around Rs. 25,000.
This successor has lots of improvement if we compare it with its predecessor, like Samsung Galaxy Grand 2 now has bigger display of 5.25 inch HD display screen of 720p while Galaxy Grand has 5 inch display screen.
Samsung galaxy Grand 2 is powered by 1.2GHz quad-core processor and paired with 1.5GB of RAM while predecessor has 1.2GHz Cortex A9 dual-core processor and 1GB of RAM.
At back it has, an 8 megapixel rear camera with LED flash, it can shoot 1080p videos, at front it has 2 megapixel front facing camera. It comes with 8 GB of internal storage which can be expanded up to 64GB via microSD card. It houses a 2,600mAh battery which can support up to 10 hours of playback and 17 hours of talktime.
For connectivity it has dual-SIM card slots, 3G (HSPA ?), Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v 4.0, Micro USB and GPS. As per software front, it runs on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean, and comes preloaded with apps like ChatON, Samsung Hub, S Health, Group Play, S Travel, S Translator, Samsung Link, and Story Album.
