Today Lava has announced a new series under its Iris sub-brand, the Fuel by launching a new smartphone, the Lava Iris Fuel 50 which is priced Rs. 7,799 and is available from today in Indian market in black color. Lava Iris Fuel 50 comes with a 3000 mAh battery which is the largest battery among any other sub-10K smartphone.
If we talk about specs then Lava Iris Fuel 50 comes with a 5-inch FWVGA IPS display screen with screen resolution of 480×854 pixels, its screen is protected by Asahi Dragon-trail glass, under the hood its powered by 1.3GHz quad-core processor paired with 1GB of RAM and has 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be further expandable up to 32GB via microSD card.
Asper photography front it comes with an 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with dual-LED flash, while at front it has an 2-megapixel front-facing camera as well. For connectivity it has got 3G, GPRS/ EDGE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth options. It houses a 3000 mAh battery which can deliver up to 13 hours of talk time and up to 360 hours of standby time on 3G networks.
As per software front it runs on Android 4.4 KitKat, it also comes with double tap to wake and supports drawing customization gestures.
