After so much of rumors and leaks Apple has finally revealed its latest iPhone 5S and Apple is calling it as most advance and forward looking iPhone. Apple says “It’s not just a product of what’s technologically possible. But what’s technologically useful. It’s not just what’s next. But what should be next.”
As per specs iPhone 5S will be the first smartphone which will be powered by 64 Bit processor. Its powered by A7 chipset which is twice as faster than iPhone 5 and 40 times faster than original iPhone. Apple has reconfigured iOS 7 so that it will be able to run 64 Bits apps, iPhone 5S will be able to run both 32 Bit and 64 Bits apps.
Apple’s iPhone 5S A7 chip along with M7 motion processor will continuously measure accelerometer, compass and gyroscope and feed them into apps which need them.
At back of iPhone 5S you will find the same 8 Mega Pixel camera but it’s the improved one, now it has 15% larger active sensor area which will result in bigger pixels, Apple has also tweaked iOS 7 so that it will use new sensors. At back you will also find dual LED flash, Apple says it will automatically tweak the two LEDs to get best photos.
Camera can shoot 720p videos at 120fps, the front iSight camera is also tweaked and got a backside illuminated sensor but can still shoot only in 720p.
As we had reported in rumors Apple had implemented finger print sensor on Home button, you can set it as your passcode or you can also use it as your Apple ID password for downloading stuffs from iTunes store. Home button is surrounded by metal ring which activates finger print scanner when you put thumb on it.
iPhone 5S will be available in 16GB, 32GB and 64GB for $199, $299 and $399 respectively on a two-year contract in the US. At this time Apple hasn’t announced unlocked version pricing, it will be available for pre-order from 13 September and launch on 20 September, Apple hasn’t announced dates for India launch. It will be available in three colors silver, gold and slate.
